2009年4月19日下午一点，梳邦再也乐龄俱乐部在首邦百利广场海外天酒楼，主办第三届首邦再也乐龄卡拉OK比赛，共有二十五名乐龄人士报名参加。当天，主办当局邀请我为此活动开幕。
礼拜天中午，二百多位首邦市及邻近爱好歌曲的居民，群聚海外天酒楼，边吃边听参赛者浑身解数，在台上又跳又唱。看在眼里，真的佩服这群又入时又快乐的乐龄人士。同时，各参赛者竟然有'粉丝'，各为其所支持的参赛者打气鼓掌，场面热闹。在场不少是家人，捧父亲或母亲的场;
也有朋友成群结队，只想听歌和聚餐，各得其所。
Subang Jaya Senior Citizen Club organised a Karaoke competition
on 19th April. It was a fun afternoon with every participant
tried their best to show their talents.
I was invited to officiate the
function and my comrades that accompanied me to the venue are
Mr. Lee You Hin, Gan Meng Foo, Chen Siong Hui, Angela, Eunice,
Jenny, Christ etc.
