Ponggal at Desa Mentari
On 07-02-10 Sunday afternoon 4pm, PPP & IPF
Kelana Jaya celebrated the “ponggal” with their
members and residents who live in Desa Mentari
Flats. “Ponggal” originated from India when
farmers celebrated good harvest, however, in
Malaysia is more a symbol to wish a good year
ahead.
Ladies and men were happily preparing pots for
competition, joys were on their faces when milk
overflow the pots, it is a sign of good luck &
good year. They also participated in arranging
Bunga Telur, Ranggoli Kollam competition and eat
sugar cane competition. It was a Fun day for
many, including the distinguished guests who
were present.

格拉那再也PPP和IPF,在2月七日下午4点，在Desa
Mentari廉价楼前草地进行
“Ponggal”
庆典。这节日源自印度，庆稻米丰收。不过，在马来西亚却因“Ponggal”是在每年的正月十四日，可以连续庆祝－个月;
－年之计在于春，所以多是为这一年的好运而办。
当天节目多样化，除了用奶和米煮成的甜米，还有串香蛋花，绘画kollam及咬吃甘蔗。印裔同胞和当天出席的贵宾，共渡一个欢喜节日;
并共迎
‘好运’
。
