Guan Ti Temple in Bandar Sunway
双威镇关帝爷庙
On
04-08-2010 (lunar calendar 2nd day of 7th
month) was the birthday of Guan Ti (关帝爷)，the
devotees of Guan Ti Temple in Bandar Sunway came in as early as
8 in the morning, and celebrated through the whole day. The
Chinese honored Guan Ti as a symbol of righteous, many keep a
statue of Guan Ti at home to drive away the evil. The temple
committee invited many community leaders to witness the
celebration & have lunch with the devotees.
农历7月初二是关帝爷的诞辰，双威镇的关帝爷庙管理委员会大事庆祝。一大清晨，信徒就入庙上香致敬。多位地方上领袖受邀出席此盛会，信徒献上超过80只金猪表心意
