Jaya Yi Lan Dinner
My team & I were invited by SJ Persatuan Poh Toh
to attend the praying ceremony on 03-09-2010
night & witnessing the burning of offering to
ancestors. Next evening at 7.30pm, we attended
the largest Yi Lan Dinner in Subang Jaya, which
drew a crowd of 2300 people. Subang Jaya is a
middle class migrant township, mostly English
educated & have very few Chinese related
organisations set up. SJ Persatuan Poh Toh has
taken the initiative to keep the culture &
tradition alive.
首邦市盂兰胜会
首邦市盂兰胜会筹委会在9月3日，邀请我和区会同志出席送大仕爷仪式，让来自以马来同胞极多州属的我大开眼界。9月4日晚的胜会，引来2300人，场面热闹与壮大;
让属于西式社会的首邦市充满华人传统气息。
