I am honoured to be given this
opportunity to serve the diverse communities of Subang Jaya and I
look forward to offering my service to fellow residents in my “kampung”.
Having been among the pioneer residents settling into the
then-considered “far-out” Subang Jaya (my first home was in SS15), I
am proud that Subang Jaya has since grown into a mature and
self-contained township – with our very own schools, colleges,
hospitals, shopping and commercial centres and recreational
facilities.
Subang Jaya is where I have
settled down – live, work, play & relax, raised my children and I am
grateful for the many conveniences that have made living here so
conducive. In many ways, Subang Jaya is the only “kampung” which my
family/children have known since we first moved here in the late
1970s.
Thus, with my candidature as the
state representative for DUN Subang Jaya, it is timely for me to
give back towards the “good life” of Subang Jaya. I consider it a
great challenge to work for its continued development so that all
Subang Jayans (my family included) can enjoy an even better quality
of life in our award-winning township.
As a true-blue pioneer Subang
Jayan, I feel I have the advantage in recognising the needs of
fellow Subang Jaya residents, initiating and effecting tangible
improvements in Subang Jaya, USJ and including Bandar Sunway. There
is much that can be changed and enhanced, especially in terms of
infrastructure. Top on my “to-do” list is tackling and seeking ways
to improve our infamous traffic flow woes. It is not going to be
easy – but I am determined to tackle it – for you and me!
May I assure you that I am
committed to continue the legacy left through the efforts of

Dato’ Lee Hwa Beng, Subang Jaya State Assemblyman since 199x, where
community interaction and activities are concerned. He has set high
standards for me to step into his shoes, but I am ready to take
Subang Jaya to even greater heights of urban excellence.
I sincerely hope you will give
me a chance to share your vision of quality living in Subang Jaya
and contribute through my participation towards the continued
progress of our “town” for our children and generations to come.
